Placentia History Collection: Audiovisual Recordings
The Placentia Library has many video and audio recordings available. Some DVDs are available to check out, and much of the digitized collection is available for viewing in the History Room itself. The videos include, but are not limited to “100th Birthday of Placentia”, “Buy in Placentia”, “Packed Up, Squeezed Out”, “A Placentia Disaster: The 1938 Flood” and many more.
Some of the items have been digitized and can now be viewed on the Local History Youtube Channel.
The 2015-2016 Local History Lecture Series can be viewed on the City of Placentia’s YouTube channel.
The audiovisual collection can be viewed on a computer in the Local History Room anytime by visiting the Placentia Library’s Local History Room during library hours.
